Chapter Eight
CUTTER
She sat on the bed in her little skirt and shirt; blood stained her hands and face. She looked faded and confused, sick to her stomach over what she had just done. Taken the life of a man.
A man who deserved far worse.
I had never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life.
I had had the feeling that she was special, that she was different.
Now I was positive.
Positive that I was linked to her in ways I didn’t fully understand yet.
I was so damaged and fucked up. I knew I wasn’t what she needed. A good girl like her didn’t need a guy like me. I was as bad as they came but I didn’t give a fuck. Being near her was too thrilling to care if it was right or wrong.
Since when did I give a fuck about what was right anyway?
Last time I checked it was never.
I took the gun out of her hand and rolled it back and forth between my fingers. “You did the right thing, Grace.” I moved closer to her, letting my eyes travel down her chest and stomach. “It was what needed to be done.”
“Was it?” She looked up at me, defeated. Her dark hair was sticking to her forehead and she had blood smeared all over her cheeks and lips. “How could that be right?”
I leaned down and took her hands in mine, pulling her to her feet. “Come on.” I pulled her after me gently. “Careful not to step in the blood,” I told her when we reached the two bodies in the middle of the floor.
She stepped over them and followed me wordlessly into the bathroom.
I slipped my shirt over my head and reached into the shower, turning on the hot water. “It’s going to be okay, Grace. You did good, really good.” I reached out to her and pushed her hair off her face.
Her bright eyes searched mine. She looked so damaged.
So hot.
“I… I shot him.” Her voice cracked. “I just shot him.”
I smiled. “You sure did.” I took my hands and traced over the outline of her shirt with my fingers. “It was perfect. Come on, hands up.” She hesitated for a second but then stuck her hands straight up in the air, allowing me to strip her shirt off completely.
My eyes drifted down to her boobs. They were bigger than I thought.
My cock immediately started to rise in my pants.
Her eyes traveled to the other room where the dead bodies were still visible through the open door. It was mostly a blur of dark red. I knew she was overwhelmed but it actually wasn’t that much blood, not compared to what it could have been.
I’d seen worse before.
Way worse.
“I… I…” She stuttered.
“Shhh,” I soothed her. “It’s going to be okay.”
I picked her up still in her skirt and bra and slowly set her inside of the shower. “Let me clean you up.” I climbed in after her and took in her beautiful body. She stood directly under the faucet, hot water dripping through her hair and all the way down her face.
